“GR Digital III – A Serious Compact” book by Cristian Sorega
Ricoh GR Diary blog author Cristian Sorega published an amazing on-line flip-book about the mighty Ricoh GR Digital III. You can read about the book here and see the full book here.
From the author:
The book was done for Ricoh so it’s not a proper review but more a look on the features the GRD III offers and my comments on their use. It is a mix between advertising the features and a review if you so want.
And:
I will look into the possibility of offering a pdf version of the book so it will be easier for people to read.
That would be fantastic.

Letsgodigital says it: “Ricoh mirrorless camera by early November”
I received this rumor 2 months ago and now Letsgodigital confirms our rumor. The Ricoh mirrorless camera will probably be unveiled early November. No MicroFourThirds mount, it will have a K-mount (Pentax).
Rumors recap at photorumors.com
From photorumors.com:
Letsgodigital also reports on a new Ricoh camera with APS-C sensor (previously reported here). 43rumors has some additional information and claims that Ricoh will come out with their own lens mount.
Ricoh system camera
From letsgodigital.org:
New Ricoh System camera to be announced soon! : We have received information from various sources about an upcoming introduction of a new Ricoh system camera. The new Ricoh system camera has presumably been developed based on a digital camera without built-in mirror. This system has become very popular lately, thanks to the introduction of the Panasonic Micro Four Thirds system cameras, among others. Whether Ricoh is actually launching a so-called mirror-less system camera is yet to be seen, although early reports mention a possible release in November. The Ricoh system camera will most likely be equipped with an APS-C image sensor, similar to the Samsung NX10, which first appeared in the news at PMA 2009
Ricoh is the first MicroFourThirds competitor
From 43rumors.com:
Ricoh is the first MicroFourThirds competitor
Dear readers,
this time we do not publish Olympus or Panasonic rumor, we have a Ricoh rumor. But the thought it will interest you to know that Ricoh will become the first MicroFourThirds competitor. They will release a compact mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses. How do we know that? Our trusted sources confirmed that (and also some new ones).
We have only few informations:
- Announcement around November 10-12 and in store on December (99% chance the rumor will become truth)
- APS-C sensor (99%)
- Very similar in design and size to the Ricoh Caplio GX200 (80%)
- They will have their own mount…Not the rumored Pentax K-mount! (70%)
- It will use the new Epson EVF! (50%)
Some of our sources told us that the camera will beat the E-P1 and Panasonic GF1 specs.
As soon as we receive more specs and hopefully images we will post it on 43rumors.
